Happy Friday all! This is a photo heavy post because there has been a whole lotta sewing going on around here - I feel like everywhere I look everyone is in quilt market mode and I'm no different :-) We're lucky enough to have Blend Fabrics based here in Atlanta and I've been lucky enough to work with them on projects for market for the past few years. It's really fun to see all the various projects that get commissioned and all the gorgeous new fabrics. This is an Anna Griffin pattern using Doglandia fabric.
Not to brag but I did make all that cording. Myself. Pretty cute, huh?
The Artist Bag size drawstring bag from Jeni's Pattern - these always look so nice and they're great for organizing or gift-giving. Fabric is the Sweet Life by Cori Dantini.
Love the contrast on this one. Fabric is Pippa by Ana Davis
How sweet would this be for a dance class? Not sure which line this fabric came from but I'll add if I can find it!
Giant hexie pillow using Geometriska fabrics and the hexie quilt block tutorial from Sew Lux. I just added a few extra rows. All my pillow covers were for 18" pillows so I cut them 19" and used a 1/4"ish seam (just fyi).
Love how this turned out - tried not to do too much quilting to take away from the design.
Another Geometriska pillow - cheater hexies!
Citron and grey - gorgeous! I put binding on all the pillows except the pieced hexie one - instead of piping. Also Pippa fabrics.
Love the way the binding finished them off.
LOVE this line - Paisleigh by Maude Asbury for Blend . I could re-do Harper's room in these...or maybe mine (although my husband would surely protest).
Such yummy colors!
A finished pile of pillow covers. I'm so pleased with how all these turned out - thanks for letting me share! Now I have a baby quilt on the to-sew list this weekend and then some Halloween sewing. I have a couple fun ideas I'm going to play around with, stay tuned to see if they turn out :-)
