Finish it up Friday :: Americana baby quilt

A finish, a finish! Can you tell I'm excited? Sometimes I feel like I get almost nothing finished (I know there are many moms out there who understand and feel the same) so when I do finish a project and it turns out fantastic to boot I am beyond thrilled! This is a commissioned baby quilt for a couple who love music and americana and I think it turned out perfectly.
The pattern is the Sugar and Spice baby quilt on craftsy, fabric was the Cola and Candy bundle from Pink Castle Fabrics (not in stock any longer but I think they still have the individual fabrics) and the quilting pattern was a suggestion from Kelly (and I love it).
Denim on the back to go with the pop of bright red binding - I hope the lucky recipients love it as much as I do! Happy Friday!

Linking up with Crazy Mom Quilts for Finish it up Friday.

  1. I love the colors you used. Good job! I am sure the recipients will be thrilled.

  2. Lovely!! Love your quilting design too - I've done that a couple of times and it's always very striking!
