Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day FIVE 2011

Happy Friday everyone - we made it! I don't know about you but this has been such a fun week - I've loved looking through all the great giveaways posted over on the Sew Mama Sew giveaway page. Now I'm just keeping my lucky fingers crossed! I think I've been equally excited about giving fun things away - thanks so much to everyone who has stopped by and commented this week. It's been so fun to read the comments each evening and feel like I'm getting to "know" some new bloggy friends. For me blogging has been all about sharing inspiration and meeting new people and so seeing all these new faces around here this week has been exciting!

On to the last giveaway of the week! I thought this would be a thoughtful book to start the new year with, The Awe-manac: A Daily Dose of Wonder by Jill Badonsky. I'm also including a fun new notebook and one of my favorite Sharpie writing pens (I'm almost as in love with pens and notebooks as I am with fabric). This book provides fun and light-hearted facts, quotes and prompts to inspire you each day. If you want to work on your creativity next year (or are just the journal-ing type) this book is for you!

For today's comment let me know if you excited or terrified that we have basically a week of holiday crafting time left. Personally I just kind of shocked myself by writing that and now feel the need to RUN to my sewing machine, or maybe I should finally bake those cookies from the dough resting in the fridge. I'm sure whichever I choose my two year old will have other ideas about how to spend our day :-)

Good luck on the giveaways and thanks so much for stopping by this week! I'll choose and post the winners with the random number generator some time tomorrow. Stop back by anytime for a visit :-)

  1. I am freaking out that I only have a week to finish all these projects that I haven't even started yet. I should probably get on that right now, actually.

  2. I'm a little bit of both. I'm trying to remember all of the things that I wanted to do this year...but also let go of many of those "want to dos" and just enjoy the season. I think I get terrified whenever I put too many things on my list.

  3. I am a bit shocked that Christmas is almost here. However, I didn't give myself a long list of tasks this year with a new baby, so I guess I am in an ok place :o)

  4. I'm excited for Christmas to come, but a little horrified that I haven't finished the baby's stocking yet or quilted the gift quilt for my sister's new baby. And we won't even talk about the goodies that haven't been baked, or the gift box that still needs to be sent of an Air Force base in California so my oldest will have Christmas presents... oh dear. The more I think about it, the more horrified I get! lol.

  6. One week.. oohh I know. I need to make: child's rapunzel dress, matching doll dress, adult apron, two matching children's aprons, a simple dress for a friend, something for my mom, AND I was hoping to find time for a quick christmas dress for christmas eve dinner with the family. Yea, right, that's not happening! Oh, and I'm out of commission after thursday because I'm busy friday and saturday. Aahhh holiday crafts ahhh. I'm terrified!
